Wisconsin River Pictures (continued) I especially liked the little "islands" which had
caves at the bases from high water erosion. There were also patches of lichen on the rocks.
One patch was SO yellow, I though some kid had vandalized the rock. There were lots of people
on the river, some in small boat, some in large ones, some in ducks, some on inflatable
rafts... and some just on the sandy beach areas along the river. At the end of the ride,
I chatted with two people from "Down Under" who were in North America for a wedding but
taking advantage of being here by visiting many tourist spots in both the USA AND Canada.
