April 11th We made a final stop at a gas bar just before we left Slovakia. There I met Janusz on a BMW R1200RS and Tomas on an F800R which his wife had recently bought him. They were out for an afternoon's ride. They said that corner of Slovakia/Hungary had some nice roads to tackle.When we arrived in Budapest, we passed several interesting things on our way to the Radisson Blu Beke. We had a bit of time to explore before dinner so we did. Most notable in our short walk was the impressive and beautiful train station. We came back in time for a buffet dinner at the Radisson. When we arrived at the dining room, Michael was just finishing an orientation for the 32 people who would join our tour for the remainder of the trip. |
