April 17th For our afternoon tour, we met in the lobby and walked down the street to the bus where Albert was waiting. We crossed the river, went through a tunnel and ended up on top of a hill at the entrance to Prague Castle.The grounds near the entrance were very beautiful and spring blossoms made it more so. The two guards at the actual entrance were very spiffy. Alexandra showed us how the castle was added onto... in the tunnel we walked through, you could see how the outside walls had been altered to add in new space by closing the archways in. When we entered the courtyard, Chapel of the Holy Cross and Kohl/s Fountain were in front of us. |
