In the Fall...
  • John Leishman was elected president of the Senior class and Lola Smith the secretary. Other members of the Senior council were Edith Horton, Dot Smith, Walter Burns, and Allan Ryckman.
  • Robert Alexander was elected president of the Junior class and Mary Mann the secretary. Clara Clandening, Evelyn McKenzie, Lloyd Bruce, and Fred Lang made up the rest of the Junior council.
  • Don Overholt was named president of the Primary class and Beatrice Bennett was named the secretary. That Primary council consisted of E. Ballantyne, M. Brown, N Erickson, and N. Vaux.

  • Leslie Cannon, president of Room 53 (XI-B), won an Isbister Scholarship and the Governor-General's Medal for proficiency in school activities. (He was awarded the Governor General's Medal at the 1928 Graduating Ceremonies.) In 1928, Leslie won a scholarship in Arts in his first year at the University of Manitoba.
